Arielle King

About Arielle: Arielle is an NYC-based creator with content focused on environmental justice education with an emphasis on law and policy, climate optimism, slow fashion, and sustainable lifestyle. Arielle has a BA in Environmental and Sustainability Studies with a concentration in Political Ecology, Master's in Environmental Law and Policy, and JD focused on civil rights and environmental justice. During law school, she co-founded an environmental justice law society and was the first Black student to serve on the school's Board of Trustees. She was recently named a 2023 Climate Creator to Watch by Harvard TH Chan School for Public Health. Arielle serves on the board of directors of Our Climate and Positive Tracks, along with the board of advisors of the Chesapeake Legal Alliance. Currently, Arielle supports programming at Black Girl Environmentalist and freelances as a content creator to uplift important environmental issues. 

 

Arielle's "Eco Hot Take:" I honestly hope none of my thoughts on intersectional, inclusive climate action and solutions are hot takes! However, I'm a snake mom and I firmly believe that snakes are the best pets.
